The United States is mourning after a gunman wearing a bulletproof vest opened fire with an assault rifle on the congregation of a small-town Texas church, killing 26 people and wounding 20 more in the nation's latest shooting massacre. IMAGES of scene
Dozens of people returned back to the Texan city of Canton to comb the wreckage of their former homes, which were destroyed by tornadoes, searching for belongings. At least 14 people lost their lives and many more were injured in the aftermath of a Saturday storm that saw at least four tornadoes touch down and ravage parts of Texas. Canton Fire Department Captain Brian Horton called for precautions and urged people to avoid critical areas unless necessary, in an attempt to avoid hindrance of rescue-operations.
