This is the new Opel Grandland X - with a host of top technologies on board and plenty of space for up to five adventurous passengers, their luggage and sport equipment. These qualities make the Opel a new contender in the booming SUV segment. In the compact class alone, the SUV share has increased from seven percent in 2010 to nearly 20 percent today. The 4.48 meter-long Grandland X's athletic look boasts crisp exterior dimensions with its taut muscles and short overhangs. And with optional two-color finish, the compact SUV shows its very own style. The Opel Grandland X made its world premiere at the 2017 IAA (International Motor Show) in Frankfurt. Ideally equipped and well positioned, the new Grandland X comes to market in the fall as the third member of the Opel X family. It joins its Opel Crossland X and bestseller Opel Mokka X siblings, which both are some 20 centimeters shorter in length. At the same time, the Grandland X expands the extensive Opel portfolio in the very popular compact car segment from Astra to Zafira.

Available in three grades: XLE, Limited and Platinum, Toyota Crown offers a choice of two different hybrid powertrains and standard All Wheel Drive. The HYBRID MAX powertrain, exclusive to the Platinum grade, is Toyota’s all-new performance hybrid that puts out 340 net horsepower and is paired with a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine and a direct shift 6-speed automatic transmission. The XLE and Limited grades come equipped with THS IV, a highly efficient hybrid system that can achieve a manufacturer-estimated 38 MPG. Crown’s “lift-up” design features large wheels for striking style and easy ingress and egress, and an associated ride height gives drivers great road visibility. Its flowing silhouette and sculpted body lines create a fresh look that’s entirely unique for its class.

With a system output of 165 kW/225 hp - the 1.6 litre four-cylinder engine delivers 133 kW/180 hp, the electric motor contributes up to 81.2 kW/110 hp - and maximum torque of 360 Nm, the new Astra GSe makes a clear statement in its class. A brisk start from traffic lights and a sporty top speed are guaranteed. From a standing start, the five-door sports hatchback accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds; a top speed of up to 235 km/h is possible (135 km/h purely electrically). And thanks to the 12.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Astra GSe can cover up to 64 kilometres locally emission-free according to WLTP.In addition, the GSe newcomers set the new chassis benchmark for integration and feedback to the driver. In the Astra comparison, the GSe is designed to be even more agile and precise. The chassis has been lowered by 10 millimetres. The steering, suspension and brakes respond more directly to any command from the driver. The KONI FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology enables different damping characteristics for precise handling and high comfort depending on the situation.
