Farmers across the continent have been protesting for weeks over what they say are excessively restrictive environmental rules, competition from cheap imports from outside the European Union and low incomes. Protesting over pay, tax and regulation, Belgium farmers are protesting in Brussels and have clogged roads around an EU summit taking place in the capital. Indian farmers on Tuesday continue their protest against new agriculture reforms.
