His recipe for going into the competition in top shape includes cycling, the gym and his SEAT Leon CUPRA. Jorge cycles up the Ordino-Arcalís mountain pass in Andorra twice a week to get himself used to performing at 170 beats per minute, the same heart rate needed to compete in a Grand Prix event. • Brembo Data - MotoGP Grand Premio de Valencia

Traditionally, the MotoGP World Championship ends with the GP of the Valencian Community, this year scheduled for November 16-18.The Ricardo Tormo Circuit, which is located just outside Valencia, is named after the first Valencian motorcycling world champion who died prematurely in 1998.Opened on 19 September 1999, it stands out for its length of only 4.005 km (only the Sachsenring is shorter) thanks to which the 65 thousand spectators on the stands can keep an eye on the whole track. The motorcycles circulate anticlockwise and must face many more curves on the left (9) than on the right (5).Except for the long straight finish, the track is characterized by tight, technical curves, in which low gears are often used.It is no coincidence that the average lap speed is the lowest in the championship: the 161.2 km / h of the lap record pales in comparison to the 186.9 km / h reached at the Red Bull Ring.According to Brembo technicians who assist 100 percent of the 2018 MotoGP riders, the Ricardo Tormo circuit deserved a difficulty index of 3, the lowest of the four Spanish tracks of the World Championship.
