Arrests outside court after Russia jails nationalist Girkin

Description

Russian police detain at least three people outside a Moscow court as they protest a four-year jail sentence handed down to nationalist critic and ex-rebel commander Igor Girkin. Girkin, who also goes by the pseudonym "Strelkov", was instrumental in fomenting the conflict between Kremlin-backed separatists and Kyiv's armed forces in Ukraine's Donbas region in 2014. IMAGES
