Following the launch of the CX-60, the all-new Mazda CX-80 is the second of two new models for Europe from the company’s Large Product group. It is the most spacious car in Mazda’s European line-up and will become the new flagship for Mazda in the region.In this latest evolution of Mazda’s unique Kodo design approach, the designers have focused on the elegance and purity of a minimalist Japanese aesthetic, which removes all unnecessary elements, achieved through the unique ‘hands-on’ approach of Mazda’s designers and master craftsmen, whose goal is to produce cars that could only have been Crafted in Japan.At almost five metres long and with a wheelbase of over three metres, the all-new Mazda CX-80 is longer, higher, and has a significantly longer wheelbase than the popular CX-60. In conjunction with two-fold-flat third row seats, the CX-80 will be available with a choice of three second row configurations, including the choice of two separate captain seats combined with either a centre console or a walk through to the third row.The all-new Mazda CX-80 features technology appropriate for the flagship of Mazda’s European model range and includes three new features: a new Alexa in-car voice control, a new hybrid navigation system combining the advantages of both offline and online services, and a new Trailer Hitch View which uses the centre display and advanced graphics to help position the vehicle relative to a trailer.

First-Ever Mazda CX-90 – the largest and most luxurious SUV ever to lead the Mazda range – is now available to order, ahead of its arrival in Australia from August.In accordance with Mazda’s rightsizing approach to engine design, both the e-Skyactiv G (turbocharged, 3.3-litre petrol G50e) and e-Skyactiv D (turbocharged, 3.3-litre diesel D50e) inline-sixes available in the First-Ever Mazda CX-90 benefit from Mazda’s M Hybrid Boost 48V mild hybrid technology, which supports the engine at lower speeds while delivering enhanced environmental performance by using regenerative braking to replenish the onboard battery. Increasing the speed range at which lean burn (lean combustion: high-efficiency combustion with minimal fuel consumption) is possible has contributed to the e-Skyactiv D power unit’s ability to achieve 5.4L/100 km – a class-leading fuel consumption figure, along with CO2 emissions of 143g/km. This pursuit of efficiency is not at the expense of performance, however, with impressive outputs of 187 kW available at 3,750 rpm and a peak torque of 550 Nm from 1,500 – 2,400 rpm.Mazda’s engineers have also designed the D50e engine to use surplus air to improve combustion, resulting in a more agile acceleration response, lower Nitrous oxide emissions at high rpm and output, and better thermal efficiency due to a greater lean burn speed range.
The Mazda CX-3 is a small SUV whose bold, edgy Kodo looks attract widespread appeal rather than polarising, whose go-anywhere flexibility is crossover at its best, and whose driving dynamics channel the spirit of the MX-5 roadster.Lightweight Skyactiv Technology gives the vehicle an unmatched liveliness on the road yet remarkable sophistication for its class. It’s smart, too, dynamically sending the clean diesel or petrol power where it is needed on all-wheel drive models. The optimised version of G-Vectoring Control – Mazda’s clever torque vectoring system – adds extra stability while also preventing driver fatigue.Numerous available features like the MZD Connect multimedia system, full-colour head-up display, and state-of-the-art active safety technology such as the newest editions of Advanced Smart City Brake Support (Advanced SBCS) and Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) only add distinct value to an already attractive package. Together with the ergonomic interior and subtly upscale furnishings, it’s a genuine all-rounder.

Complimented by the introduction of G-Vectoring Control (GVC), the first of Mazda’s Skyactiv-Vehicle Dynamic technologies, it became more comfortable, refined and responsive.The updated, 2019 Mazda CX-5 built on the many and diverse strengths of the second generation model with refinements focused on two key areas - cabin quality, and driving dynamics. Sharper and better to drive than ever, with greatly improved refinement, it cemented this vehicle’s reputation as one of the SUV segment’s most enjoyable driver’s cars.
