To celebrate the European launch of the all-new Honda Civic e:HEV, the car took centre stage at the Vanity Fair ‘Social Garden’ exhibition at Milan Design Week 2022.Honda’s all-new 11th-generation Civic has been engineered with a unique human-centred approach to dynamics and design. Following the ‘exhilarating Civic’ development ethos, Honda engineers focused on how exterior and interior packaging can work together to create a more comfortable and refreshing in-car experience that will enhance owners’ everyday lives.
Honda opened the doors on its exhibit at Milan Design Week 2019, the first time the brand has had a significant presence at the world’s largest design exhibition. Honda’s e Prototype, fresh from its world premiere at 2019 Geneva Motor Show will be the centrepiece of the “Honda experience - Casa Connessa Tortona“.“Honda experience - Casa Connessa Tortona“Based in the Tortona design district of Milan, Honda has used high-end fashion boutique “Alysi - The Garden House” as the base to create its experience.On entry, visitors are greeted by an immersive visual and auditory experience designed to represent the shift from the urban environment to a calming space. Walking through the entrance into the main space, the Honda e Prototype is presented under a glass roof, leaving the car open to shifting natural light.At the centre of the venue sits an architectural tree sculpture, created from natural materials. The sculpture acts as a symbol of the seamless link between the outside environment and inside life that inspired the design language of the Honda e Prototype.
Automobili Lamborghini attends Milano Design Week with an exhibition space in Superstudio Più, Via Tortona 27, created in partnership with the CRA – Carlo Ratti Associati design and innovation studio. Lamborghini’s strong ties to the world of design are highlighted both by the exhibition and the European unveiling of the Countach LPI 800-4, 50 years after the very first Countach was launched. This car is produced in a limited-edition run of 112 and is a futuristic homage to a vehicle that redefined the supercar look, with stylistic features that can still be seen in the silhouette of every Lamborghini.The exhibition space will also house the historic Countach LP400; the Aventador Ultimae – the final Aventador edition and a car that celebrates the naturally aspirated V12, and a space dedicated to design collaborations with Tecnomar and iGuzzini.
Lexus announced their return to Milan Design Week, the world's largest design exhibition, with the "SENSES ELECTRIFIED". For their 13th year in Milan, Lexus commissioned Loop.pH, a world-renowned, London-based spatial laboratory, to present a vision of an electrified future where transportation engages and stimulates the senses. In partnership with Loop.pH, Lexus aims to create a dynamic and immersive experience which was inspired by the vision of "LEXUS ELECTRIFIED" and the LF-30 Electrified concept car, which will also be on display.
