Relief tents installed in the wake of deadly Taiwan earthquake

Description

In Hualien, relief tents are set up to provide shelter to residents after the most powerful earthquake in 25 years hit Taiwan, killing at least nine people and injuring more than 1,000. Strict building regulations and widespread public disaster awareness appear to have staved off a major catastrophe for the earthquake-prone island, which lies near the junction of two tectonic plates.
