IN SECRET is a tale of obsessive love turned to crime and revenge in the lower depths of 1860s Paris. Therese (Elizabeth Olsen of MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE) is a ravishing but sexually repressed young woman trapped into a loveless marriage to her sickly cousin Camille (Tom Felton of the HARRY POTTER franchise) by her domineering aunt Madame Raquin (two-time Oscar®winner Jessica Lange). Now, Therese must spend her days as a virtual shut-in, confined behind the counter of a small shop by day and watching Madame play dominos in the evening. But when she meets her husband's alluring childhood friend, Laurent (Golden Globe nominee Oscar Isaac of INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS), everything changes. What begins as a thrillingly illicit, clandestine affair will unravel into a shocking set of tragic circumstances for everyone. Rounding out the cast of IN SECRET is Shirley Henderson (TRAINSPOTTING), John Kavanagh (HBO's THE TUDORS) Mackenzie Crook (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN) and Matt Lucas (BRIDESMAIDS). Directed and written by Charlie Stratton, based on Emile Zola's scandalous novel "Thérèse Raquin," the film is produced by Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon and William Horberg.
