The head of the UMP party, Jean-François Copé, has called on the Justice Minister Christiane Taubira to resign for concealing her knowledge of these wiretaps. Left-wing MPs say this a clever attempt by the UMP party to divert attention from the "Sarkoleaks" revelations.
