Johannesburg, Apr 13 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Kim Ludbrook) A group of artists has been occupying the offices of the National Artistic Council of South Africa for more than a month to demand answers about the aid promised by the Government to the sector.The stimulus package, of more than 17 million euros, was aimed at alleviating the crisis that the art world is suffering in the country as a result of the coronavirus pandemic but, according to the artists, who have been protesting for 42 days, the Government is not meeting the agreed deadlines. In eastern Poland, farmers stage a protest in their tractors against EU measures to combat climate change and the massive importation of Ukrainian products. They are accusing their Ukrainian counterparts of undermining their business and are calling for a halt to all border traffic all the while stepping up a battle with the government over their conditions.
