Polestar 2 presents a new take on various audio functions that contribute to its premium package, working with high quality components and the latest technology to design and integrate advanced audio.With Polestar 2, digital sound engineers were presented with the opportunity to create a new sound scape for the car. Warning, notification and functional sounds have a robotic, digital feel while remaining clean and clear – and they are unique to Polestar.Premium audio is part of the Plus Pack in the Polestar 2 offer. A 13-speaker, 600-watt Harman Kardon sound system elevates the audio experience and features unique technology. A ventilated subwoofer in the rear body cavity provides high-quality bass, and a second, air-powered subwoofer placed ahead of the dashboard changes the way the audio experience could be engineered as well.
The BMW Group presents a fusion of art and innovation at the Frieze Los Angeles art fair in the form of the BMW i5 Flow NOSTOKANA. The one-of-a-kind vehicle combines colour-change technology developed by BMW with the artistic language of South African artist Esther Mahlangu. The designer piece, with sections of attached film that can be electronically animated, embodies the latest development in colour-change technology for vehicle surfaces in cooperation with E Ink. The BMW i5 Flow NOSTOKANA celebrates its world premiere at the fair opening on 29 February. The contemporary tribute recalls the BMW Art Car designed by Mahlangu in 1991.

Artist, songwriter and author, electronica pioneer and technology aficionado, Jean-Michel Jarre is committed to working with Renault to develop the best possible in-car sound experience for the brand's new vehicles. One of his first projects was the development, along with Ircam and the group's sound design teams, of two types of sound for Renault's electric and hybrid models: the VSP (Vehicle Sound for Pedestrians), a low-speed exterior warning sound for pedestrians, and the Welcome sound sequence when entering the vehicle.The documentary "The story behind the sound design" goes behind the scenes of the work carried out and shows Jean-Michel Jarre's contribution as an artist as well as an engineer. It shines a spotlight on an amazing human adventure and explains the many issues involved in sound design, from the first thoughts to the reveal of these sounds on Scenic E-Tech electric at the 2023 IAA Munich Motor Show.
