US Judge Blocks Trump's Health Clinic Rule Associated With Abortion

Description

A federal judge in Washington blocked President Donald Trump’s new rule. The rule would prohibit taxpayer-funded family planning clinics from referring patients to abortion providers. According to Reuters, abortion supporters refer to it as a “gag rule.” They said it silences doctor-patient communication about abortion options. The judge's ruling will allow clinic to continue providing “quality, unbiased healthcare to women.”
