Aid workers arrive in Pemba after a powerful cyclone pounded northern Mozambique Thursday and Friday, leaving one person dead and wrecking homes and communications, barely a month after the country was hit by one of the worst storms in its history. IMAGES
Collapsed walls and roofs bear testminony of the passing of Cyclone Gombe in northern Mozambique. At least 12 people died after devastating wind and rain lashed the southern African country, affecting more than 30,000. It destroyed more than 3,000 homes since making landfall on Friday. IMAGES
