Fernando Alonso achieved his first-ever rally raid podium with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing after a solid performance at the 2019 Al Ula-Neom Cross-Country Rally in Saudi Arabia on November 5-9. In just their third rally raid competition together, Fernando and navigator, Marc Coma, took home the third-place trophy for the first time since the Spanish duo started their preparations towards the 2020 Dakar Rally just over two months ago.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing confirmed its participation in the 2018/2019 Super Season of the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) this past December, then last week announced its driver line-ups. Now the team is unveiling the livery of the Toyota TS050 Hybrid. As for TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's driver line-ups, stability is the name of the game for the #7 still shared by Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and José María López. At the wheel of the #8, Sébastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima have been joined by two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso. Anthony Davidson will remain with the team in the capacity of development and reserve driver. So Fernando Alonso has officially joined the ranks of Toyota not only for the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018, but also for every round of the 2018/2019 World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) Super Season.

On a significant day for Aston Martin, the new Vantage road car and Aston Martin Vantage GT3 join the AMR24 marking a trilogy of reveals.In its iconic racing green livery, complete with Aramco title partner branding, the AMR24 represents a strong and exciting evolution from its predecessor which catapulted the team to eight podiums and 280 points in 2023. The AMR24 evolves the same design philosophy but there is minor carryover with the majority of the parts being new for 2024. The continuous refinement of the AMR24 has resulted in a lighter, more aerodynamically efficient race car, designed to operate across a wider range of circuits.
