Facebook Faces Backlash For Banning Right-Wingers

Description

Business Insider is reporting that Facebook is barring a bunch of far-right figures from its apps, including Alex Jones. However, the company briefed journalists and made the announcement before the bans came into effect. That gave the banned right-winger time to respond. Analysts are asking why Facebook decided to try and organize a PR opportunity, rather than immediately taking action against the accounts. The Right-Wingers include Milo Yiannopoulos, Alex Jones, and Laura Loomer.
