U.S., Mexico Talks Resume, While Trump Demands More Progress

According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, Mexican and U.S. officials are set to resume talks in Washington aimed at preventing punitive tariffs on Mexican goods as President Donald Trump called for Mexico to step up its efforts to curb migration at the southern US border. While departing Ireland, Trump told reporters, "They have to step up and they have to step up to the plate, and perhaps they will. We’re going to see if we can solve the problem. We’re having a great talk with Mexico.
