Images show burned-out buildings and the charred remains of the village of Sobane-Kou in central Mali after a mass ethnic killing. Nearly 100 people died in the gruesome overnight attack according to officials. There has been no immediate claim of responsibility but the massacre, targeting a village inhabited by the Dogon community, bears the hallmarks of tit-for-tat ethnic attacks that have claimed hundreds of lives.
