Forget About It: US Asks Federal Court To Dismiss Huawei Lawsuit

The U.S. government is asking for the dismissal of a lawsuit by Huawei Technologies Co Ltd. The Chinese tech giant claims the US had acted illegally when it blacklisted Huawei’s products. Huawei sued the U.S. government in early March, in a complaint filed in federal court in Texas, saying that a law limiting its American business was unconstitutional. Reuters reports the motion to dismiss the case was filed on Wednesday, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
