Big Box Retailer Make Push To Compete On Amazon Prime Day

Description

Business insider is reporting that mega-retailer Walmart is offering thousands of deals to counter Amazon Prime Day. E-commerce giant Amazon launched Prime Day in 2015, and it's now one of the company's biggest shopping event of the year, only behind Cyber Monday. The event will be held on July 15 and 16 this year. To compete with Prime Day, Walmart, Target, Macy's, and hundreds of other retailers now offer discounts every year to rival Amazon's annual shopping event. Amazon Prime Day will last 48 hours this year, which is longer than ever before.
