The Group’s latest technological advances in the fields of design, autonomous driving, connectivity, electrification and services will be showcased here, alongside spectacular world premieres such as that of the BMW Vision M NEXT.
Fans of unadulterated driving pleasure in an open-top BMW M model can look forward to a new arrival tailored perfectly to their preferences: the Pure Impulse edition of the BMW Z4 M40i. With the 2024 model year roadster, a six-speed manual gearbox will also be available for the range-topping version for the first time. The new engine/transmission pairing forms the core element of an enticing equipment package designed to place greater emphasis than ever on the two-seater’s unwavering focus on delivering an exhilarating open-top driving experience. The Pure Impulse edition brings retuned chassis technology and mixed-size M light-alloy wheels measuring 19 inches in diameter at the front axle and 20 inches at the rear.

Fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology, the new BMW iDrive and a large selection of driver assistance systems mark out its progressive character.The BMW i4 is available in two model variants from launch, one of which is the first ever BMW M car with a locally emission-free drive system. The BMW i4 M50 employs an electric motor at both the front and rear axle to produce system output of 400 kW/544 hp. The richly engaging driving pleasure on offer ensures it lives up to its billing as the performance-focused work of BMW M GmbH. The BMW i4 eDrive40 combines a 250 kW/340 hp electric motor with classical rear-wheel drive.

Its 12.3-inch Information Display and the Control Display with a screen diagonal of 14.9 inches form a fully digital display network. The modern premium ambience in the interior is further enhanced by the new sports seats fitted as standard, the steering wheel, which is now flatter at the bottom, and the optional BMW Interaction Bar.
