Congress Passes $4.6 Billion Emergency Funding Bill, Waits For Trump Approval

Description

The Senate passed a $4.6 billion emergency funding bill for border security and increased migrant detention center conditions. According to Business Insider, the House of Representatives have also passed the bill. Now the bill will hit the desk of President Donald Trump for approval. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wash pushed by moderated to leave the original bill by the House and take up the Senate vote. Most of the funding, around $3.98 billion, goes towards helping migrants and detention facilities.
