Description

According to Reuters, leaders from the EU and the UK are negotiating a delay to Brexit passed March 29th. On March 21st, British Prime Minister Theresa May met with members from the European Commission and other prime ministers to postpone the UK's exit date from the EU. A day before, Prime Minister Theresa May asked the EU to extend the UK's deadline until June 30th, but they countered with a two month extension. Initially, the summit’s chairman offered to delay Brexit until May 22nd, but France countered with an offer of May 7th. But one diplomat said the UK's departure from the EU may be put off until 2020.
