Myanmar, Jul 27 (EFE/EPA).- Myanmar military rulers have formally annulled the Nov.8 election results, claiming widespread irregularities by the ruling National League for Democracy (NLD) of Aung San Suu Kyi, state media reported Tuesday.The military claimed that a probe found 11.3 million fraud cases in the elections swept by the NLD. Bangkok, Apr 1 (EFE).- The special representative of Myanmar’s deposed civilian government called Thursday for a foreign military intervention in Myanmar to stop the violence of the military junta, which has killed more than 530 civilians, including children, since the Feb. 1 coup.In an interview with EFE, Htin Linn Aung said foreign military intervention is the only way to stop the killings of civilians while advocating the creation of a federal army with ethnic minorities and avoiding considering the persecuted Rohingya as citizens.
