Over 1000 drivers, many races, and countless thrills, that’s the Ferrari Challenge legacy. Since 1993 the most famous one-make championship has placed dream cars and very special customers on the most beautiful racetracks in the world. These customers are not content with simply driving their Ferraris around, they want to be part of high-speed competitive races. The Ferrari Challenge is divided into three continental series: Europe, North America, and the latest addition, the Asia-Pacific series whose first season was in 2011.Challenge races are always hard-fought and packed with head-to-head duels, providing the driver with all the excitement ofthe track. Races are completely professional on the technical side and offer the highest safety levels. Indeed, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) endorses all three championships. Each series is divided into four main categories, Trofeo Pirelli, Trofeo Pirelli Am, Coppa Shell, and Coppa Shell Am depending on the driver’s level. Each race yields four winners, thus providing even more thrills for the fans at the circuit or at home. The European series is broadcast in over 90 countries worldwide, providing great visibility for drivers’ sponsors.

    The 2021 season of Ferrari Challenge North America is set to begin this weekend at Virginia International Raceway. A full paddock of over 50 Ferrari 488 Challenge Evos will be joined by participants in the Club Competizioni GT, also making its first stop of the 2021 season, at a circuit that makes its first appearance on a Challenge schedule since 2007.The paddock in Virginia is full of Ferrari, most notably the 40 Ferrari 488 Challenge Evos that are set to compete in the weekend’s races. The grid is set with an exciting mix of familiar faces and new names who will do battle over the circuit’s challenging 3.27 mile layout. Notable returnees include all of the 2020 North American champions. Cooper MacNeil (Ferrari of Westlake) makes his return and another run at the Trofeo Pirelli class championship, while Dave Musial (Ferrari of Lake Forest) will challenge for supremacy in the Trofeo Pirelli AM-1 category. Brad Horstmann (Foreign Cars Italia), fresh off securing his championship at Misano earlier in March will be in the middle of a very competitive Trofeo Pirelli AM-2 category that also includes the 2020 Coppa Shell AM champion Justin Wetherill (Ferrari of Central Florida).

  • Finali Mondiali Ferrari 2020 – Horstmann celebrates title

    After Race-2, Brad Horstmann (Foreign of Beverly Hills) had one more reason to celebrate on the podium at Misano. As well as the track win, he also sealed the Ferrari Challenge North America – Coppa Shell title at the end of a hard-fought season. The US driver’s season rose to a crescendo, hitting the mark in the last five races.“It couldn’t have been a better weekend. To win the final ranking, I needed one more point than my rival [Kevan Millstein, ed] and instead, I got the maximum: two poles, two fast laps in the race and two wins. I couldn’t have done more”.

    Poleman Thomas Neubauer made up for his unfortunate debut at Imola with a brilliant victory in Race-1 at Barcelona. Matúš Výboh secured an unexpected win in the Trofeo Pirelli Am, taking advantage of a mistake by Olivier Groetz on the last lap to seal his third consecutive victory.
