Nairobi, Jun 28 (EFE/EPA).- Turkish lecturer Asil Ozbay kicked off her solo motorcycle trip in Kenya before heading to other African countries for a documentary project. Ozbay is a lecturer from the Gedik University’s Faculty of Sports Sciences in Turkey and has travelled in over 50 countries across Europe and Asia with a dream of touring the world by motorcycle. During her Africa tour, Ozbay will be open to scientific collaborations and together with her university, she plans to offer a scholarship to promising students who would like to study abroad. Ozbay, however, arrived in Kenya by plane as she could not use highways due to security amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
