Mnuchin Hopes To Soon Reach "Final Round" Of China Trade Talks

Description

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Saturday a U.S.-China trade agreement would go “way beyond” previous efforts to open China’s markets to U.S. companies. Reuters reports he added that he hoped that the two nations were “close to the final round” of negotiations. Mnuchin and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer are set to hold two calls next week with Chinese Vice Premier Liu He.
