Baby Archie's Birth Certificate Confirms Meghan Markle Gave Birth At London Hospital

Baby Archie's birth certificate has confirmed the Duchess of Sussex gave birth in a London hospital, despite suggestions she was planning to have a home birth. Rumors emerged in April that the duchess was considering having the child at her Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor. However, baby Archie's birth certificate was released on Friday, confirming that Markle did in fact give birth at Portland Hospital on Monday, May 6. A photo of the birth certificate was released by the Press Association on Twitter. The Daily Mail first reported that the duchess was taken to Portland Hospital in the early hours of Monday, May 6 where she gave birth to baby Archie at 5.26 a.m.
