The former vice president called for unity following the heated election, which President Donald Trump has refused to concede. President-elect Joe Biden in a statement Saturday called for unity in the US after major news outlets declared he had won the 2020 election, ousting President Donald Trump. "I am honored and humbled by the trust the American people have placed in me and in Vice President-elect Harris," Biden said in a statement Saturday.
Joe Biden told Stephen Colbert that he's disappointed GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham has not recognized him as the winner of the 2020 election. "Lindsey's been a personal disappointment because I was a personal friend of his," Biden said. Business Insider reports that Graham was once a sharp critic of President Donald Trump.
