(WEC).Developed by the same team of engineers behind this saga of victories, the 508 SW PEUGEOT Sport Engineered is a sports car powered by electrified technology that incorporates all the experience in aerodynamics, mechanical components and performance developed in competition. Its shooting brake silhouette draws attention as much for its sharp and athletic design as for its surprising features.The Plug-In Hybrid traction chain of the 508 PEUGEOT Sport Engineered not only allows the combined action of its PureTech 200 gasoline engine and its two electric mechanics, located respectively on the front and rear axle, achieving a total power of 360 CV, with 4 drive wheels, but also makes it possible to choose four different driving modes: Sport, Electric, Comfort, Hybrid and 4WD.

The all-new Honda Civic has been engineered to ensure that its e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) powertrain, steering and suspension deliver the engaging levels of performance, dynamic response and feedback that have always been central to the Civic’s appeal. The result is a car that blends a rewarding driving experience with highly competitive efficiency and emissions.Available later in 2022, the 11th generation Civic is the final mainstream Honda model to be electrified, following the CR-V, Honda e, Jazz, Jazz Crosstar, and HR-V. The car will feature the most advanced iteration of the brand’s award-winning e:HEV full-hybrid powertrain. This combines a power-dense lithium-ion battery and two compact, powerful electric motors with a newly-developed 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine, which achieves industry-best equalling 41% thermal efficiency and features a direct injection system optimised for faster and more efficient combustion and greater torque output. In addition to direct injection system, a number of technologies such as low temperature active catalyst, and a modified design on intake port help contribute to improved fuel economy whilst achieving specific output.The result of these technological advancements is a WLTP ‘Combined’ CO2 emission figure of just 108g/km (WLTP), with fuel economy an equally impressive 4.7l/100km. This exceptional efficiency is combined with a maximum power output of 135kW/ 184PS and 315Nm maximum torque, ensuring the all new Civic is a compelling driver’s car within the C-segment.
The next-generation of Honda’s HR-V, the brand’s popular compact SUV, has been engineered with a focus on maximising driver enjoyment and comfort. Compared to its predecessor, the all-new HR-V has a more rigid body structure and benefits from extensive suspension, steering and braking enhancements. This allows it to respond more precisely to driver inputs, and delivers a more assured, more rewarding and more comfortable driving experience.Offered exclusively as a hybrid, the HR-V has been crafted to be both extremely enjoyable and responsive to drive, as well as highly efficient. The two-motor e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) powertrain, which also features in the recently launched Honda Jazz, benefits from advancements made over 20 years of Honda hybrid development. For its application in the HR-V, there have been a number of revisions to counter the additional size and mass of the SUV over the Jazz. Power and torque have been increased to 96kW (131PS) with 253Nm respectively, whilst the final gear ratio has also been lowered for better driving performance.
