Kostiantyn Yelisieiev, Ukrainian Ambassador to the EU

Description

As tensions continue to rise in Ukraine, Moscow and Kiev are blaming each other for the collapse of the Geneva agreement, signed on April 17. Ukraine's Ambassador to the EU, Kostiantyn Yelisieiev, says there is no doubt that Russia has been using undercover military forces to back separatists in the east of the country. He urges the EU to adopt tougher sanctions against Moscow, likening Europe's response so far to a "mosquito bite".
