Mercedes Benz Concept BlueZERO Debut of Mercedes' First Electric Car
Mercedes-Benz presented its Concept EQA small electric hatchback at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show on Tuesday. The Concept EQA is a compact all-electric hatchback, containing a flat battery pack under its cabin. Dual electric motors, one for each axle, produce a combined output of 200 kilowatts, equal to about 270 horsepower, and 368 pound-feet of torque, allowing the concept to jet from 0 to 60 in about 5 seconds.
Engineer Gorden Wagener unveiled the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept car at the Mercedes Lounge at Pebble Beach, California on Friday during the world famous Moneterey Car Week festivities, drawing oohs and ahs from the croud. The ultra-long luxury coupe extends to an impressive 18.7 feet long and powered by four electric motors which generate 738 horsepower and giving the vehicles a range of 200 miles.

The new Lancia concept car therefore becomes an expression of the Italian timeless design, with a sustainable and innovative approach that goes beyond the typical automotive language.The concept car is named Lancia Pu+Ra HPE: “Pu+Ra” refers to the brand's new, pure and radical design language, while HPE stands for High Performance Electric, for a car that is Eco-sustainable, Exciting and Evolved, all at the same time. The acronym HPE was used for the first time in the 1970s for Lancia Beta, and stood for “High Performance Estate”, a symbol of sportiness and practicality.
Spectacular proportions defined by a long wheelbase and emphasised by short overhangs, powerful shoulders, large wheels, a distinctive rear spoiler and star-shaped headlamp signature – the Vision AMG makes an emotional statement from every perspective. Beneath the breath‑taking exterior design of the four-door coupé is the equally extraordinary dedicated AMG.EA platform, which is currently under development in Affalterbach for all-electric performance models.
