A new Chinese car company called Redspace unveiled the innovative REDS prototype model at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday, designed by former BMW Design Chief Chris Bangle. The cubical-shaped car was designed in particular for the gruelling traffic of Chinese megacities, and comes with a 17-inch screen and rotating seats for those bumper to bumper moments. The strange windshield might not be the most aerodynamic, but it's set to offer an excellent view.
Mercedes-Benz presented its jaw-droppiing hybrid electric Project One supercar at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday. The Project One is inspired by Mercedes' Formula One race-technology and comes with a 1.6-liter V6 hybrid, over 1,000 horsepower, and a blistering fast top speed of nearly 220 miles per hour. Of course, the $2.7 million price tag ensures that the Project One will only end up in the garages of the super wealthy.
German car manufacturer BMW unveiled its brand new i8 Roadster model at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday. The i8 Roadster is a two-seater hybrid sports car featuring a soft-electric top and an aluminium body with a carbon-fiber passenger cell.The car comes with a battery that has an electric-only range of up to 18 miles before the 3 cylinder, 369 horsepower gas engines joins in. The i8 hybrid roadster is fast - its top speed is 155 mph and the sleek vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 4.4 seconds.
Police sirens could be heard blaring through Downtown Manhattan as the new Nissan Police Pursuit 23 made its way to the New York International Auto Show, on Wednesday.
