"With the new BMW M2 Competition, BMW M GmbH is setting fresh benchmarks in the compact high-performance sports car segment and adding marked refinement to the character of the BMW M2 Coupé. The centrepiece of the new BMW M2 Competition is its new engine, based on the power unit from the BMW M3 and BMW M4. The double-charged six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology delivers 410 HP between 5,250 and 7,000 rpm. The engine's peak torque of 550 Nm is on tap between 2,350 and 5,200 rpm. The power unit boasts an insatiable appetite for revs for a turbocharged engine and offers exceptionally linear power delivery across a broad rev range. A dual exhaust system with electronic flap control provides the distinctive M sound, while the M TwinPower Turbo technology delivers outstanding efficiency. In relevant EU countries, the BMW M2 Competition also boasts an Otto particulate filter (OPF) to further reduce fine dust pollution. The new BMW M2 Competition completes a standard sprint, from a standstill to 100 km/h, in 4.2 seconds (with M DCT, 4.4 seconds with six-speed manual gearbox). The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The car can be combined with the M Driver's Package to raise the top speed to 280 km/h - 10 km/h more than with the BMW M2 Coupé. The consumption figures are also noteworthy: with six-speed manual gearbox, the combined fuel consumption is 10,0 - 9,9 l/100 km, the combined CO2 emissions are 228 - 225 g/km. With the optional M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT), these numbers decrease to only 9,2 l/100 km 210 - 209 CO2 emissions g/km combined."

The BMW Group is presenting the world premiere of its BMW Concept Touring Coupé at the opening of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2023. The closed two-seater, which was developed for one-off production, continues the tradition of legendary BMW classics: a timeless symbol of freedom on four wheels and the joy of travelling together.BMW Design has reimagined the traditional body shape of an elegant sports car, giving the vehicle a shooting brake concept. In the interior, precisely crafted leather surfaces from Italian manufacturer Poltrona Frau create a luxurious ambience. The compartment behind the seats provides ample room to stow luggage for spontaneous trips; the luggage itself was also exclusively custom-made at the Schedoni leather workshop in Modena.
BMW is opening a new chapter in its tradition of super-sporty compact models. In the process it will set a new benchmark for driving pleasure – a brand speciality – at the premium end of this vehicle class. The new BMW 2 Series Coupé embodies sporting prowess in a particularly concentrated form, with a vehicle concept focused squarely on dynamic excellence, an athletic design, powerful engines and sophisticated chassis technology.
The new BMW 4-Series Coupé was developed with the aim of redefining the essence of driving pleasure in the premium midsize segment. The two-door model is based on the technical underpinnings of the latest BMW 3-Series Sedan. But the design and blueprint for this latest generation adds another layer to the autonomous identity encapsulated in its standalone model name. A rigorous commitment to optimising the car's proportions, aerodynamics, body stiffness and chassis mounting has resulted in extraordinarily sporty handling.Model-specific chassis technology plays a particularly important role in putting clear water between the new BMW 4-Series Coupé and the latest BMW 3-Series Sedan, and in giving it a significantly sharper character than its predecessor. In this way, the latest model generation latches onto the advances made with the dynamic skillset of the latest 3-Series and extends that fresh potency even further into an intoxicating experience of performance at work.The new BMW 4-Series Coupé will be built at BMW Plant Dingolfing. The BMW Group's largest German production facility is also the birthplace for the BMW 8-Series Coupé and siblings. Other models rolling off the production line at Dingolfing include the BMW 5-Series, BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo and BMW 7-Series luxury sedan. The worldwide launch of the new BMW 4-Series Coupé will get underway in October 2020.
The first-ever BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe sees BMW bringing the four-door coupe concept that has already enjoyed great success in higher vehicle classes into the premium compact segment for the first time. This more dashing alternative to the classical sedan celebrates its arrival with a fresh dose of individuality, aesthetic appeal and emotional engagement, backed up by innovative control/operation and connectivity tech, excellent everyday usability and the dynamic capability for which BMW is renowned. The BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe will go on sale worldwide, the extrovert four-door coupe providing a particularly alluring gateway into the BMW product range.Built exclusively in Leipzig, Germany, the BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe represents the entry point to BMW ownership in the USA, and so it is fitting that the new model celebrates its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2019. Around 20 per cent of 2-Series Gran Coupe models produced will find their way to the USA, while other key markets are China (from the end of 2020) with a target figure of 15 per cent and Europe, which should account for around a third of deliveries. Here, Germany (7 per cent) and Great Britain (6 per cent) are the major players. The BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe therefore has all the ingredients to fuel the enthusiasm of new, design-led customers in urban areas for BMW's hallmark driving pleasure. It represents an appealing addition to the model line-up, in particular in markets where the sedan body style enjoys strong popularity.
This September, the Frankfurt Motor Show will provide the backdrop for the world premiere of the third-generation BMW X6 (fuel consumption combined: 10.7–6.1 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 243–159 g/km)*, the car that established the Sports Activity Coupé segment a good ten years ago.
