Baseball fan falls to death at the Atlanta Brave’s Turner Field

An Atlanta Braves fan fell to his death from the upper deck of Turner Field during the Braves vs. Yankees game on Saturday.According to witness reports from ESPN.com, the unidentified 60-year-old man was emphatically booing as Alex Rodriguez stepped up to the plate at the top of the seventh inning as a pinch hitter. The Braves fan fell over the railing and hit one of the wires holding up the screen behind home plate. He fell at least 40 feet and landed in the lower deck section where some player’s families were seated.EMS workers at the stadium responded, and performed CPR on the man for about ten minutes before he was carried out of the stadium on a stretcher. He was taken to Grady Memorial hospital where he was declared dead shortly after arrival.Braves pitcher Matt Wisler was quoted in the Atlanta-Journal Constitution as saying: “Huge condolences go out to that family. You never want to hear something like that. We were all in the dugout paying more attention to that than the game when it first happened. That’s terribly sad to hear. We really hope for the best for that family. That’s sad to see something tragic like that happen at a game.”

Murdering Music Producer Phil Spector Dies In Prison

CNN reports the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation announced Spector had died of natural causes on Saturday.
