Several passengers, including three Americans, thwarted a possible massacre on a high-speed train on Friday when gunman, Ayoub El Khazzani, opened fire while the train was traveling near the French town of Arras.
An attack on a French Thalys train traveling from Amsterdam to Paris left two passengers seriously injured on Friday before two US military members and other passengers fought the gunman, and tied him up.According to the New York Times, the gunman opened fire around 5:45 p.m. hitting one French passenger in the neck, before his gun jammed.
