Deadpool Writers Dish on the Upcoming 'R' Rated Comic Book Movie

Description

Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick expressed their excited over their upcoming comic book flick starring Ryan Reynolds. They commented, "Writing for Deadpool is the best. We were given a great gift in this character. He has the capacity to break the traditional storytelling rules". After going back and forth between an PG-13 and an R rating executives finally pushed the duo to go ahead with their edgier script. The duo also debated over which villains to include in the film but ultimately they got consolidated into Angel Dust in order to not clutter the narrative of the film. Deadpool is set to hit theaters February of 2016.
