This includes various systems as part of the smart pilot assist, such as a highway assistant (HWA) and automatic parking assist (APA). The smart #3 also features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay2, which allows drivers to bring smartphone features and apps to the infotainment display. To ensure that the system is always up to date, smart implements constructive feedback and is able to develop features quickly and publish over-the-air (OTA) updates at short intervals that can be implemented directly by the user without a visit to the service center. In 2023, four OTA updates have already been successfully rolled out for smart #1 customers.
