Spotify Will Use Music Preferences to Find Your Perfect 'Star Wars' Match

Star Wars- the Force Awakens has sparked a lot of ways to celebrate the return of Star Wars. Now, Spotify is bringing music preferences into the party. The streaming music service offers an app that matches users up with a Star Wars character based on the music they listen to on the service. Spotify listeners can head over to spotify-starwars.com to see which character would share their musical taste. How does Spotify already know the musical tastes of Force Awakens characters that most of us haven't seen yet? If your musical match is R2-D2, does that mean you have to hang out with C3PO as well? All these questions will be answered in the wide-release premiere on December 18th.
