The only American to have been killed in Friday's attacks in Paris was a design student from a University in Long Beach, California. Her University held a vigil in her honor Sunday.

Cal State Long Beach student Nohemi Gonzalez, 23, brought "joy, happiness, laughter to everybody she worked with" says Professor Michael LaForte during a news conference announcing her death in the Paris attacks. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
The coffin of Carène Mezino, a 37-year-old nurse stabbed to death at the end of May in Reims hospital by a mentally disturbed man, is carried in the hearse in front of the Basilica of Saint-Remi in Reims, in the presence of several hundred people, including the Minister of Health, François Braun.
