Russian Fathers Can Now Bond with Sons By Building Guns Together

Description

These wooden pistols are exact model replicas of classic Russian weapons and they are now available as hobby constructor kits marketed as a good old father and son activity. Russian manufacturer T.A.R.G. builds wooden pistol constructor kits with children in mind, so that kids can assemble various firearms including the Makarov pistol, the legendary COMBAT M1911 and others without too much trouble. The distinctive features of T.A.R.G. designs are that the weapon models are constructed with moving internal mechanisms, which imitate the sound of shots. The finishing touches include replicas of the little details found on the real weapons, like engravings and textures, made out of plywood. Users put the guns together by hand and complete their home-made wooden pistol replica with white craft glue. The producing company claims that kits help children to develop spatial thinking and small motility, alongside giving them an idea of how elementary mechanisms work. T.A.R.G. produces weapon kits only from eco-friendly and safe materials.
