President Trump Defends Embattled Bill O'Reilly Amid Harassment Allegations

Description

President Donald Trump has come to the defense of embattled Fox News host and conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly. A bombshell report in the New York Times details payouts from O'Reilly and Fox News totaling 13 million dollars, given to six women who complained that O'Reilly sexually harassed them. O'Reilly and Fox both issued statements. The host vehemently denies the claims, saying that as a public figure he is subject to false accusations. O'Reilly claims he only settled the cases to spare his children from negative publicity. President Trump rushed to O'Reilly's defense, saying he is a "good man." Trump went further, saying "I don't think Bill did anything wrong." O'Reilly is in hot water over the accusations. Nearly 50 companies have pulled out of advertising on his show.
