Heavy rains continue to wreak havoc in Japan, rescue efforts underway

Tsunagi, Jul 9 (EFE / EPA) .- The torrential rain that began on the weekend and that extended throughout Japan on Wednesday left havoc in businesses and private properties.Rescuers are searching for missing people at Tsunagi, Kumamoto Prefecture on Japanese southwestern island of Kyusu, after landslide caused by torrential rain. 59 people are confirmed to be dead and another 16 missing by torrential rain and flood on Kyushu island.
