Economy in Indonesia contracts 3.49 percent in third quarter of 2020

Jakarta, Nov 12 (EFE/EPA).- According to media reports, Indonesia has fallen into a recession for the first time in 22 years due to effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The central statistics agency (BPS) announced the country's economy contracted by 3.49 percent in the third quarter of 2020.
