Bankruptcy an option for debt-stricken Thai Airways, Finance Ministry says

Bangkok, May 15 (EFE/EPA).- Financially crippled Thai Airways International (THAI) could go into debt rehabilitation under the bankruptcy law, Thai Finance Ministry said. The Thailand's flag carrier posted a loss of 12 billion Thai baht (about $374 millions) in 2019, according to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.Thai Airways was formed in 1988 and is the flag carrier airline of Thailand.
