Group of bicycle lovers distribute hot meals to people affected by lockdown in Nepal

Kathmandu, Jun 1 (EFE / EPA).-Nepal professional cyclists Santosh Ra and Pushkar Shah have created a group called "Taato Khanna" (or "Hot meal" in English) to support the communities affected by the coronavirus pandemic that has left Nepal under a national lockdown since Mar 24.The group of bicycle lovers has been distributing hot meal to children and homeless people on the streets of the Thamel area, and some other parts of Kathmandu for the past 44 days.Every day around 12 noon, members of "Taato Khanna" gather in a kitchen in Thamel to prepare the food and then, donning full protective gears, distribute them to the people in need on their bike.(Camera: NARENDRA SHRESTHA).SHOTLIST: MEMBERS OF "TAATO KHANNA" PREPARING AND DISTRIBUTING HOT MEALS TO PEOPLE IN NEED IN KATHMANDU, NEPAL, DURING THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWN.
