Beatriz Flamini, a Spanish elite athlete, finally finds open air after spending 500 days isolated in a cave, with no direct contact with the outside world or natural light. Flamini has been 70 metres below ground in the cave in Los Gauchos, near Motril, since November 2021, left with books, artificial light and cameras to record her experience but no phone or timekeeping instruments, and food provided by a team who left it in a spot in the cave where they would have no contact.
