Women join farmers protests in Amritsar, India

Amritsar (India), Sept 27 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Raminder Pal Singh) Women joined on Sunday farmers in their 'Rail Roko' or 'Stop the Trains' agitation on railway tracks, against the central government's newly introduced agri-bills. Farmers across the state are demanding a rollback in three agri-bills of the central government and against the new Electricity Bill 2020, stating that these are against the interests of farmers.
