Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny was the most awarded of the night, winning in the five categories in which he was nominated, while J Balvin was left empty-handed despite being one of the favorites.The nominations are based on fan interactions with music in areas of sales, streaming and airplay as tracked by Billboard for the period Jan 17 2020 through Jan 21, 2021.
