Just five months later Wolfsburg surprised with all its nine brands at the Geneva Motor Show with fascinating outlooks on to a car year which is even to outperform the record year 2010. Volkswagen has not shot its bolts yet.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says "an immediate full ceasefire" between Israel and Hamas which collapses into fighting "would not be in anyone's interest" ahead of a parliamentary debate on the issue.
